That’s that me Sabrina, espresso.
Sabrina Carpenter and Dunkin’ are joining forces to launch a coffee drink in the new year. On Monday, the popular breakfast chain announced it would be releasing Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso, in honor of the Grammy-nominated artist’s chart-topping hit, “Espresso.”
The handcrafted iced beverage will combine Dunkin’s bold espresso, brown sugar notes and oat milk, shaken together. The launch comes as the coffee company kicks off its playful new ad campaign called Shake That Ess‘, bringing the musician’s personality and trademark humor into the Dunkin’ cinematic universe, according to a press release.
The campaign was created in partnership with Artists Equity, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s company. It sees the Short n’ Sweet singer-songwriter surveying a room filled with a group of people, “enthusiastically shaking their ess’,” per the release. As “Espresso” plays in the background, the cast continues to dance and begins shaking their drinks, mirroring the frothy coffee beverage.
“When we first dreamed up Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso at Dunkin’, it had to be more than another delicious drink on the menu — we wanted to bring some levity to guests’ everyday coffee order,” said Dunkin’ chief marketing officer Jill McVicar Nelson. “Working with one of America’s most beloved pop stars, Sabrina Carpenter, adds a spirited, fresh energy that perfectly aligns with Dunkin’s love of bold taste and good-natured fun. Through our new ad campaign, we’re showing guests that their new drink order can be both delicious and a wink at embracing life’s lighter side — exactly what Dunkin’ is all about.”
In addition to the Carpenter-themed drink, Dunkin’ will drop a limited-edition Shakin’ Espresso Shaker on New Year’s Eve at 9 a.m. PT and have a new $5 Meal Deal, which includes two Wake-Up Wrap sandwiches and a medium hot coffee or iced coffee. The coffee chain will also have a Lava Cake Signature Latte, Lava Cake Coffee, Chocolate Whoopie Pie Specialty Donut and the return of the Iced Lemon Loaf.
