Law & Order: SVU 25th anniversary celebration

The Law & Order SVU crew celebrated the show’s 25th anniversary with a special event in New York on Tuesday.

Succession FYC event

Following their big drama series win at the 2023 Emmys, the Succession cast reunited for a FYC event on the Paramount lot on Tuesday.

Vanderpump Rules premiere

Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Ally Lewber and Brock Davies walked the carpet on Wednesday at the season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, where Maloney and Lewber also celebrated their birthdays.

The Zone of Interest special screening

Jennifer Lawrence hosted a special screening of The Zone of Interest with writer-director Jonathan Glazer, producer Jim Wilson, production designer Chris Oddy and sound designer Johnnie Burn on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles.

TCM 30th anniversary event

Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese and Paul Thomas Anderson, along with Warner Bros.’ Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, hosted a 30th anniversary celebration event for Turner Classic Movies on Jan. 12.

Ryan Gosling SBFF tribute

Ryan Gosling was honored with the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film by the Santa Barbara Film Festival on Saturday, with Greta Gerwig and Steve Carell on hand to present.

The Players Ball hosted by The Black Keys and Playboy

The Black Keys partnered with Playboy to host The Players Ball on Saturday at Bar Marmont, with guests including Jason Sudeikis, Florence Pugh, Chris Rock, Zach Braff, Tobey McGuire, Beck, Chase Crawford, Stephen Dorff, Jason Momoa, Shailene Woodley, Sophia Bush and Miles Teller.

La Playa Hotel reopening

To celebrate the unveiling of La Playa Hotel’s restoration, Marc & Rose Hospitality joined forces with IAMA Theatre Company to transform the Carmel-by-the-Sea hotel into a living theater, curating a brand new immersive theater experience. Guests included Patrick J. Adams, Guillermo Díaz, Katie Lowes, Lewis Pullman and Adam Shapiro.

American Fiction screening

Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig hosted a screening of the film, followed by a Q&A with Jeffrey Wright, on Tuesday in NYC.

Warby Parker x The Black List dinner

Warby Parker hosted a dinner in L.A. on Tuesday to celebrate the brand’s partnership with The Black List. In 2022, the partners created the Writer’s Vision Grant, awarding $20,000 each to three aspiring writers in film, television and theater. 

The Woman in the Wall premiere

Showtime hosted the premiere of its new thriller series on Wednesday in New York.

John Williams Music Building dedication

On Thursday, Tony Vinciquerra and Tom Rothman dedicated the newly renamed John Williams Music Building on Sony’s historic Culver City lot in honor of the legendary composer, with support from Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams.
