Whether you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fanatic or a Swiftie, United Airlines is offering special flights to get you to Vegas for the Super Bowl — and potentially a Taylor Swift sighting.

United Airlines is adding more than 40 direct flights between Kansas City to Las Vegas for the 2024 Super Bowl, where the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will play at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11. The additional flights from Thursday, Feb. 8 to Monday, Feb. 12 will even celebrate pop culture’s buzziest power couple. Flight UA 1989 pays homage to Taylor Swift’s recently re-released 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album, while UA 2287 is a nod to the Grammy-winning musician’s song and her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s jersey number. There’s even UA 1587, a reference to the jerseys of quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Kelce.
Depending on the departure date and time, round-trip flights from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to Las Vegas (LAS) range from $831 for economy seats to $4,208 for business class. Nonstop flights are about three hours, with one-stop layover flights running about five hours. United says the 40 additional flights will serve over 14,000 travelers, and the company notes in a press release that “more than a quarter of all flights for the Big Game are purchased in the next two weeks.”
