Saks Fifth Avenue is sharing a look at its new private shopping suite. The elegant space, appropriately named The Hollywood Suite, is located on the top of Saks Fifth Avenue’s new Beverly Hills store, which opened its doors on Feb. 8.
The suite features pink-hued walls, a simultaneously welcoming and chic sight. The two-story space also features a view of the iconic Hollywood sign, and is one of 15 private salons at the Wilshire Boulevard store.
The suites belong to what the store has dubbed the Fifth Avenue Club and is dedicated to private-client shopping and styling services. Guests visiting the Fifth Avenue Club can take a dedicated elevator directly up to the store’s fifth floor.
Saks senior vp, director of sales John Antonini previously told The Hollywood Reporter that “these personal shopping services are by appointment only, but free of charge. Anybody can sign up for them to meet with a personal shopper. Many of our clients develop lifelong relationships with our shoppers and we curate lifestyle ready wardrobes.”
The iconic luxury department store’s Beverly Hills location not only features the new private spaces, but also a host of new brands. New to the designer ready-to-wear arena, the store now features CELINE, LOEWE, Louis Vuitton, Maison Margiela, Mugler, Valentino and more. To complete the look, the store now offers Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, CELINE, and Dior handbags and CELINE, Gabriela Hearst, Jil Sander and LOEWE shoes.
While Saks now calls the building home, it once housed Barneys New York. However, the building has been sitting empty since 2019, when Barneys filed for bankruptcy. In preparation for the new store, the building underwent a near complete gut renovation — apart from Regency-style marble staircase and skylight, which Saks preserved.
