Da’Vine Joy Randolph’s FaceGym Face Workout

The night’s best supporting actress used FaceGym to prep her skin throughout award season, including for the Oscars. Her makeup artist, Sheika Daley, massaged her complexion with the FaceGym Weighted Ball to release tension, followed by the Pure Lift Face tool “to reduce puffiness and add a lifted effect” and finally, the Multi-Sculpt tool “to create natural definition on the cheekbones and jawline,” said Daley.

While collecting the best actor trophy for his turn in Oppenheimer, Murphy relied on groomer Gareth Bromell to prep his hair and skin. For every event, including the Academy Awards, Bromell used the CurrentBody Skin LED Therapy Light Mask on Murphy “to help soothe and restore his natural complexion,” said Bromell. The mask is a favorite with Hollywood pros thanks to its high-quality LED lights that stimulate elastin production within 10 minutes.

Joanna Vargas’ Triple Crown Royale Facial ($275 for 60 minutes) helped the Barbie director glow on Sunday. The treatment began with exfoliation, courtesy of a diamond-tipped wand to smooth skin. Next was microcurrent, to decrease puffiness and improve muscle tone. The final step was an oxygen treatment that blasted vitamins and aloe onto the skin. The result? Dewy, flawless skin, à la Gerwig.

Jonathan Bailey’s Hydrating Facial

Facialist Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine told THR: “Jonathan had just flown from London to Los Angeles. That level of travel wreaks havoc on the skin’s ability to retain moisture and can leave skin dehydrated, flat and puffy.” To rehab the skin, McLeod-Valentine focused on restoring hydration by using his signature rhythmic facial massage inspired by the ancient Japanese art of Kobido, during which he used Augustinus Bader’s The Face Oil to activate facial muscles and encourage lymphatic drainage. This “restores the facial contours and imparts the skin with healthy radiance, energy and balance.”

His facial also included cryo sticks, LED light therapy and radio frequency treatments, and was finished with Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Cream. McLeod-Valentine also prepped nominees Emily Blunt and Lily Gladstone for the award ceremony, as well as Meghann Fahy, Sharon Stone and Sophia Bush for the Vanity Fair afterparty.

Kirsten Dunst’s Sculpting Stone Treatment

Makeup artist Melanie Inglessis said her client’s look “was all about skin.” After cleansing, toning and eye cream, Inglessis “indulged Kirsten in a face massage” with Danucera Cream Supreme. She used the brand’s sculpting stone to massage the cream into the complexion. “It left her skin moisturized, bright, glowing and ready for makeup.” The stone, made from 100 percent natural white jade, known for its healing and calming properties, helps tone and de-puff skin.

Alexandra Daddario’s Gua Sha for Circulation

White Lotus star Alexandra Daddario enlisted Dior skin expert, Sarah Akram, to prep her skin for Oscars festivities. During her beloved facials, Akram uses three tools: Face massager Dior Prestige Le Pétale Multi-Perlé to “help stimulate, sculpt and cool the skin”; gua sha stones, which she says are “like yoga for your face [to] release tension in your face and neck, improving circulation and lifting the appearance of your skin and promoting lymphatic drainage”; and third is LED red light. “It reduces fine lines, wrinkles and the appearance of pigmentation and redness while promoting healthier, younger-looking skin. It’s great for all skin types and doesn’t have any downtime.”

Her light of choice is the Omnilux Contour Face, which will be back in stock on April 5.
