Fresh off launching her Lana Del Rey-repped Skims Valentine’s Day collection, Kim Kardashian is bringing her signature neutrals-powered beauty look to her first line of of eye and lip makeup.
Available today, the entrepreneurial star’s Skkn by Kim beauty brand has debuted a three-piece cosmetics collection ($22-$50) that mirrors her clothing label’s skin tone-inspired shades. Think a matte eyeshadow palette with 12 no-budge, blendable colors ranging from beige to black; a lip liner available in 15 nude hues, from light beige to rich mahogany; and lipstick in 10 shades.
The formulas are infused with skin-care ingredients, such as magnolia officinalis bark extract (known to soothe the skin) in the eyeshadows and jojoba, avocado and castor seed oils in the lip products for nourishment and hydration. The lipsticks are designed to leave a “blurred, airbrush finish,” while the longwear lip liners feature a smooth velvet texture and a smudge-resistant finish.
“I’ve recently been taking a skin-first approach towards my beauty routine,” Kardashian says in a release. “In developing [my new makeup], my goal was not only to create universally-flattering cosmetic essentials, but also to ensure that our products are clean, hydrating, comfortable, and help improve the look and feel of skin with every wear. Just like our skincare collection, our makeup was inspired by the beauty secrets I’ve gathered from industry experts over the years.”
The release follows sister Kylie Jenner’s launch of Kylie Cosmetics’ longwear foundations, the beauty brand’s first release in that category.
